mindfulness for daily life
one of the best tools you can develop to improve your mental health is mindfulness. mindfulness is the ability to observe your own experience - without judgment - and learn to respond in new ways.
in our mindfulness group, we will gather to explore foundational mindfulness skills. topics will include:
mindfulness of thoughts
self-compassion
mindfulness of emotion
vipassana
tonglen
and more.
mindfulness sessions will last 30 minutes and include some introductory education, 15 minutes of meditation, and time for discussion and processing.
this mindfulness group is designed to introduce essential mindfulness skills that can augment your therapy at river & stone. it can also provide a great introduction into exploring your mental health if you are not yet sure you’re ready for therapy.
all sessions will be held on our virtual telehealth platform. this is a zero-cost offering.
